Possible Arson

The Cannon County Sheriff's Department Investigator Chris Brown is investigating the possible arson of a single-wide mobile home at 719 Lassiter Road. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the State Fire Marshal's office.

Burglary

Deputies are investigating a burglary at the home of Tammy Horsley on Osment Road. Among the missing items are a flat screen TV, an LG cell phone, various items of clothing and jewelry, DVDs, various CDs and a DVD player.

Officers investigated a burglary at the home of Hollis Crabtree on Myers Lane. Among the items taken were a Mossberg 16-gauge shotgun, a Remington 30-06 rifle and a green Dewalt bag containing a charger and battery.

Arrests

Shane Borren was charged with domestic assault following an incident on Pea Ridge Road. A hearing is set for May 2 in General Sessions Court. Bond was set at $1,000.

Angela Michelle Prater was charged with domestic assault following an incident on Iconium Road. A hearing is set for May 2 in General Sessions Court. Bond was set at $1,500.

Nathaniel G. Wanner was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and failure to provide proof of insurance following an accident on Stones River Road.

Woodbury Police Department


Theft Over $1,000

Jeremy D. Thomas was charged with the theft of a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder by Patrolman Tommy Miller. A hearing is set for May 9 in General Sessions Court.

DUI

Donald Wayne Cantrell was charged with DUI and possession of a Controlled Substance (Xanax) by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for July 18 in General Sessions Court..
