Cannon County Sheriff's Department

DUI, Third Offense
Mark Dodd was charged with multiple offenses following a traffic stop in Gassaway.
Deputy Mike Hainey spotted an ATV on Gassaway's Main Street and stopped it. After a sobriety test, Dodd was charged with DUI and driving on a revoked license. Inside a plastic crate mounted to the front of the ATV was two bottles of beer along with a corn cob pipe that contained what appeared to be marijuana residue.
Near the ATV, Hainey discovered a prescription bottle containing marijuana and a set of silver metal knuckles.
Dodd was then charged with DUI (third offense), driving on a revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Stolen Vehicle Report
Sgt. Melanie McCormick investigated the theft of a 1972 Chevy Chevelle from a home on McMinnville Highway.

Domestic Assault
Jerry K. Binkley was charged with two counts of domestic violence following an incident on Pea Ridge Road.

DUI
Two men were arrested by Deputy Randy Wildes after he spotted a car sitting in a driveway off Jim Cummings Highway. Walter S. Lowry and driver James Clayton Henley Jr. were arrested. Lowry was charged with public drunkenness and Henley with DUI.

Warrants
Ricky Espy was charged with violation of probation on DUI and vandalism charges.

Robert Nelson was charged a violation of probation.

Amber Sue Carlton was charged with a passing worthless check warrant.

Kevin Gannon was charged with a violation of probation.

Haskell Carmack was charged with a violation of probation.

Mary Carmack was charged with a violation of probation.

Michael Howell was charged with passing worthless check.

Blake Burton was charged with a violation of probation.

Jessica Ann Padgett for violation of probation on driving on a suspended license charge.

Justin Lee Todd was charged with a violation of probation.

Ashley Hope Morgan was charged with a violation of probation.

Terry L. Ortkiese was arrested on violation of probation charges.

Richard W. Wilkinson was charged with failure to report an accident in excess of $1.000.

Samuel Booth was charged with a violation of probation and with domestic assault, vandalism and interference with an emergency call.

Ciara J. Scott was charged with a violation of probation.

Jessica Mai Ring was charged with a violation of probation.

Driving without a license
Gregory A. Smith was charged with driving without a license by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for June 10.

Aggravated Assault
Lena Ann Jones was charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for May 13.

Simple Possession
Ashley L. Smith was charged with simple possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for May 13.

Drug Paraphernalia
Alyssa Marie Coleman was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Assistant Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for May 13.

Evading Arrest
Savannah Charlamain Schultz was charged with evading arrest by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for June 13.

Disorderly Conduct
Jamie R. Jones was charged with disorderly conduct and driving on a revoked license by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for May 13.

Possession of a Legend Drug
Sherman Tyler Rumsey was charged with possession of a legend drug by Patrolman John House. A hearing has been set on May 13.

DUI
Sherry S. Stephens was charged with driving while intoxicated by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for May. 13.

Driving on a Revoked
Christopher Johnson was charged with driving on a revoked license (second offense) by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss. A hearing is set for June 10.

Rachel Affholter was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman Sebastian Krauss.

Why arrest them they pat them on the had put them on more probation that they are already on...catch them again and it keeps repeating the same thing over and over...what's new....it's gonna always be like this from what I can see....
