Phillip A. Davis

Philip A. Davis, 73, passed away Thursday, Nov. 20, 2014 at his home following an extended illness. He was a native of Forest, IN.

He is survived by his children: Bret Davis (Dee Jones) of Forest, IN., Bart Davis of Oakland, CA., Lori (Rick) Smith of Indianapolis, IN. and Lucinda Griesy of Noblesville, IN.; Brother: Randall Allen Davis of Frankfort, IN.; Wife of his heart for 12 years: Lorraine Lucken of Woodbury; 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin H. Davis & Pauline McQuinn Davis.

Mr. Davis was a member of the Methodist Church and the Cannon Co. Senior Center until his health prevented him from attending. He was a farmer and worked in construction. Philip was well known all over the Country as a Quarter Horse Judge. He also was a breeder, exhibitor and seller of Quarter Horses. His children showed horses most of their lives.
