Peggy S. Higgins

Peggy Higgins, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 at her home following an extended illness.

She was a native of Cannon County and lived in Woodbury.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Williams and Bro. Mance Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Wood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday.

She was a member of the West High St. Church of Christ and office manager for the Murfreesboro Housing Authority.

Survivors include her children, Kim Fann and Tommy Higgins of Woodbury and Tina (Mike) Graves of Bell Buckle; five grand-children, Jamie Higgins, Eden Fann, Erin Fann, Ethan Graves and Emilee Graves, and a nephew, Danny Brown of Woodbury.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chelmer B. and Lottie Ann Good Brown and her sister, Lynn Brown.

Active pallbearers will be Christopher Brown, Howard Blair, Grady George, Jr., Jackie Rogers, Ryan Bess and John Fesmire.
