Peggy Ruth Alexander Gannon, 77, of Woodbury passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. She was a native of Cannon Co., TN.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Karen Gannon of Woodbury; grandchildren, Wyatt Gannon and Amelia Gannon both of Woodbury; brother, Don (Joyce) Alexander and Benny (Judy) Alexander, both of Murfreesboro.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Janie Howeth Alexander and brother, Jimmy Alexander.
A devoted mother and mema, she loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed attending the Senior Citizen Center in Cannon Co. and was a member of the Church of Christ. Peggy was retired from Whirlpool.
Funeral service was held at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home, 3 pm Monday, January 20, 2014 with burial in Riverside Gardens Cemetery.
