In honor of Veterans Day, Stewarts Creek High School presents its inaugural theater production, Ordinary Heroes, November 8 & 9th at 7:30 PM. Based on the Library of Congress Veterans Oral History Project, Ordinary Heroes captures the voices of real life soldiers and their families from conflicts dating back to World War I.

This multi-media theatrical event uses live music and historical photos to knit together these heart-warming and sometimes heart-breaking stories of heroism and sacrifice.

This original production is directed by Donald Fann, former Executive Director of the Arts Center of Cannon County. Fann guided a group of approximately 25 students as they researched and identified content and created the script. “We are excited for this to be our inaugural production in this wonderful facility,” says Fann “We want to be an asset to the entire community”.

The cast includes 20 Stewarts Creek High School students including Collin Ballard, Skylar Raney, Madison McCormick, and Tristin Hicks. The ensemble cast also includes, Hunter Brockway, Sydney Daniel, Brianna Donahoe, Morgan Ellis, J. D.
