Old Feed Store honored

Woodbury's Old Feed Store was selected as a runner-up in "The Best of Tennessee Readers' Choice Awards."
Debbie and Mike Vaughn own the Old Feed Store at  310 W. Water St. It was bested in the Middle Tennessee Shopping category by Cuz's Antiques Center in Lebanon.

More than 1,000 entries were submitted nominating the best food, attractions and accommodations in the state. The statewide awards program seeks to determine the best of all Tennessee has to offer. The ballot is divided into six categories: eats, destination and recreation, the arts, getaways, shopping and events.

"We appreciate everyone who casts their vote for the Best of Tennessee annual contest. Our readers come from all over Tennessee, so we have divided the state into three regions to pinpoint the best in each area," says Robin Conover, editor of The Tennessee Magazine. "Whether it's for a favorite milkshake, hiking trail, golf course or county fair, our winners from 26 categories are all worthy of the title "Best of Tennessee."
