Officers Forced To Use ‘Pain Compliance’ On Suspect



Nathan Carl Hale, 921 Reed Court, Woodbury, was charged with Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Simple Possession and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia on March 18 by Woodbury Patrolman Patrick Fann.

Hale fell in a parking spot on Bryant Lane and had to be transported to the hospital for evaluation. He tried to stand up and walk away several times after being instructed by law enforcement to remain seated.

Officers had to use pain compliance methods to place Hale in handcuffs.

After being transported to the Cannon County Jail, a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana was found in Hale’s billfold and also found on his person was a silver pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana.

Total bond was set at $3,500. Initial court date is May 8.
