Wendell G. Mingle, 70, passed away Friday, Jan. 19, 2019 at St. Thomas Rutherford. He was a native of Cannon Co and resided in Murfreesboro.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Rita Davis Mingle of Murfreesboro; 2 Daughters, Lisa (Steve) Stone of Crossville and Kasey (A.J.) Troupe of Murfreesboro; 5 Grandchildren, Bobby Williams, Ashley (Jordan) Case, Dustin Priest, Gentry & Teagan Troupe; 3 Great Grandchildren, Bryson Williams, Rylee Case and Chloe Priest; Sisters, Virginia Rogers and Brenda Hawk both of Woodbury; Sisters-in-law, Rhama Mingle of Woodbury and Shirley (Charles) Craig of Murfreesboro; Brother-in-law, Ricky (Donna) Davis of Woodbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Mingle and Christine Bryson Mingle; baby brother, James Mingle and Brother, Wayne Mingle.

Wendell was a member of the Salem Creek Church of Christ and was a veteran of the United States Marines. He was retired from Alvin C. York Medical Center where he was the Supervisor of Medical Records. He loved to make people laugh and always put others before himself. He loved the Lord and his family.

Funeral Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Al Bugg, Jr. and Bro. Ron Harper officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 5 pm to 8 pm Monday, 01/22/18.
