OBITUARY: Synthia Kay Watkins

Synthia Kay Watkins, age 66, was born January 10, 1951 to parents the late Erbie Olan and Donzetta Kirby England went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2017 at the home of her daughter, Starla (Jason) Duke of Manchester.

Kay, as everyone knew her, is also survived by a son Justin Watkins of Manchester; 3 grandchildren, Erbie, Jaydon and Jerri Duke of Manchester.

Other than her children and grandchildren, she is survived by 5 sisters, Billie (Freeman) Rickard of Decatur, AL., Mary Brimer of Walling, TN., Gloria (Wally) West of Smithville, TN., Michele (Jody) Davis of Walling, TN. and Heather (Travis) Cope of Sparta, TN. A host of nieces, nephews and friends also survive. In addition, she was preceded in death by her brother, Erbie Michael England.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, mother-in-law and sister. She loved being with her family and friends and hearing God's word.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wed., Aug. 23, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Rev. James R. King officiating. Interment will follow in Cherry Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers, Richard Rickard, Freeman Rickard, Sr., Freeman "Ju" Rickard, Jody Davis, Travis Cope, Adam Cope, Wally West and Don Pugh.

Visitation will be held on Tues, Aug. 22, 2017 from 3 pm until 9 pm and Wednesday until time of service.
