OBITUARY: Juanita Farless Higgins

Juanita Farless Higgins, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Woodbury Health and Rehab. She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff "Heavy" & Tammy Higgins of Readyville; grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Higgins Carter, Taylor Higgins and Miranda Johnson; great grandchildren, Austin Johnson, Audrey Carter and Avery Anderson; siblings, Charlene (Ike) Parker of Bradyville, Marvin (Geraldine) Farless of Kitrell, Melvin Farless of Walter Hill and Betty Solomon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Agnes Merritt Farless; husband, J.W. Higgins; Son, Tim Higgins; Sister, Lavada Holt; Step-Mom, Dorothy Farless and half-sisters, Diane Bauman and Peggy Farless.

Ms. Higgins was a member of the Church of Christ and a nurse for Dr. J.F. Adams and Cannon Co. Sportswear.

Funeral Services will be 2 pm Saturday, March 03, 2018 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Norman Pelham officiating. Interment will follow in Cherry Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4 pm till 8 pm Friday, March 02, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cannon Co. Walking Horse Assoc. or Cherry Cemetery.
