OBITUARY: Haskel Wade "Murdock" Merritt

Haskel Wade "Murdock" Merritt, 60, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Tennova Health Care in Lebanon. He was a native of Cannon Co.

He is survived by his sisters: Delilah (Dennis) Gregory of Macon County, Mary Ellen Carmack and Nina Judkins both of McMinnville; Step Siblings: Ruth (Ricky) Murphy, Joyce (Jim) Weisse, Jean (Troy) Murphy and Alice Davis all of Woodbury; Nieces and Nephews: Dustin Gregory, Dewayne, Brittney & Kaitlyn Carmack, Rachelle & Greg Mayfield; Special friends: Shawana and Shane Espy and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskel Arzo Merritt and Seaple Mathis Simpson & sister, Nelda Joan Todd.

Wade was a stone & brick mason, he received Jesus Christ as his savior 7 weeks ago. He loved to fish and drive fast cars.

Graveside Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Center Hill Cemetery with Bro. Greg Mitchell officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Woodbury Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
