Frances Moore, 96, of Murfreesboro passed away Fri., August 25, 2017 Adams Place. She was a native of Cannon Co.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn M. Shannon of Sunbright and Frank (Diane) Moore of Murfreesboro; Grandchildren, Connie (Shane) Gilliland, Kimberly (Joe) Baust, Lisa (Matthew) Tabers, Rene (Van) Graves, Nancy (Allen) Stansbury, David (Julie) Dial; 12 Great Grandchildren, Matthew & Meredith Graves, Sadie, Ruben, Eli and Gracie Dial, Ben, Taylor and Kendell Stansbury, Jack & James Baust and Vivian Taber
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Adam Melton & Lucy Boma Jones Melton; her husband, Frank Moore; siblings, Christine Maxwell, Kenneth Melton, Jim Blair Melton, Buster Melton & Reb Melton.
Ms. Moore was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Home Demonstration Club of LaVergne. She was a beautiful seamstress and loved to cook. She was very active in her church teaching bible studies and was involved in the women's club and missions.
Funeral Services will be 3 pm Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. John Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 noon until 3 pm Sunday, August 27, 2017.
