Eight of the defendants on the docket for the Cannon County General Sessions Court of Judge Susan Melton Tuesday didn't bother to show up.

They all face the consequence of an additional charge of failure to appear.

Tuesday's court results are as follows:

• A motion by Myrna E. Adams to waive or reduce fees was denied by Judge Melton

• Michelle Renee Bryant, charged with failure to appear and violation of probation, was continued until April 26.

• Sterling B. Bush III pled guilty to violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 30 days in the Cannon County Jail. He was given credit for 28 days served and placed back on probation for 34 months, 27 days and ordered to pay court costs.

• Barry Wayne Bynum, charged with domestic assault, resisting arrest and violation of probation, was continued until April 19.

• Rebecca Paige Bynum entered a conditional plea of guilty to theft under $500. She was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days, subject to good and lawful behavior, ordered to pay fines, restitution and court costs, and to not go on the property of Fred's Department Store.

• Rena Nanette Clemmons, charged with driving on a revoked license (2nd offense), speeding (46/30) and violation of the insurance law, was continued until April 19.

• Calvin Maurice Conley, charged with driving on a suspended license (2nd offense), failed to appear. A capias was issued for his arrest.

• Jessica Nichole Davis, charged with theft under $500, theft over $500 and public intoxication, failed to appear. A capias was issued for her arrest.

• Timothy Eugene Ellis, charged with driving without a license, was continued until May 17.

• Xochitl Escobedo, charged with no driver's license, was continued until March 29.

• Matthew Lawrence Feragola, charged with driving on a suspended license, was continued until May 17.

• Melissa Fay Fultz forfeited her cash bond on a worthless check charge.

• James Harris Gilley, charged with DUI, pled guilty to a reduced charge of reckless driving. He was given a six month suspended sentence, placed on probation for an equal amount of time, fined $250 and court costs, and ordered to attend alcohol and drug school.

• Rebecca Louise Glowacky, charged with driving on a revoked license, speeding (54/30), and violation of the insurance law, was continued until March 29.

• Harry Griffin forfeited his cash bond on a worthless check charge.

• Randy Lynn Hall, charged with hindering secured creditors, was continued until March 29.

• Elizabeth Nell Hodge pled guilty to violation of probation. Her probation was revoked, she was ordered to serve 30 days in the county jail, and was given credit for 28 days served. Upon release she will be placed back on probation for five months. She was also ordered to pay court costs.

• Hugh Anderson Holliman pled guilty to a sixth offense of driving on a suspended license. He was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county  jail, partially suspended. He was ordered to serve 10 days in jail and given credit for four days served. He was placed on probation for 11 months, 29 days upn release and ordered to pay a $100 fine and court costs.

• Johnny Brian Hollis, charged with aggravated rape, aggravated kidnapping (two counts), prohibited weapon possession and resisting arrest, was scheduled for a preliminary hearing on May 3.

• Christopher Allen Hoover pled guilty to four counts of driving on a revoked license. On each count he was sentenced to 11 months, 29 days in the county jail, partially suspended, and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was also ordered to serve 45 days in the county jail and given credit for 14 days served. He also lost his driver's license for one year, ordered to pay a $50 fine and court costs. In another case, Hoover pled guilty to a charge of violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence.

• Raymond Lee Knox Jr., charged with assault with injury, was continued until March 29.

• Christopher Paul Lafever pled guilty to a charge of violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was ordered to serve his entire sentence. He was given credit for 292 days served. Charges of promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, aggravated assault, evading arrest and driving on a revoked license (7th offense) were bound over to the May term of the grand jury.

• Mitzi Lawson, charged with violation of probation, failed to appear. A capias was issued for her arrest.

• Larry Dean Leftwich, charged with violation of probation, failed a drug screen in court Tuesday and his probation was revoked. He was remanded to the custody of the Cannon County Sheriff's Department. Bond was set at $50,000. His next court date is March 29.

• Kenneth Albert Marx, Jr., charged with simple possession of  Schedule II and VI drugs, possession of Legend drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, failed to appear. A capias was issued for his arrest.

• David William McPeak, charged with three counts of violation of probation, failed to appear. A capias was issued for his arrest.

• Mitchell Layne Merriman pled guilty to a charge of violation of probation. He was sentenced to six months in the county jail and ordered to serve the entire sentence. He was fined $50 and court costs.

• Doyle E. Mooneyham had three counts of violation of probation dismissed.

• Michael Edward Muncy, charged with promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, possession of drug paraphernalia, introduction of contraband into a penal institution and violation of the seat belt law, had his case bound over to the May term of the grand jury.

• Princess N. Odom pled guilty to a reduced charge of driving without a license (from driving on a suspended license). She was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was fined $2 and court costs. In another case, Odom pled guilty to violation of probation and ordered to serve 40 days in jail. Upon release she will be placed back on probation for 10 months, nine days.

• Robert Lee Odom, charged with two counts of theft under $500, was continued until March 29.

• Mark Anthony Pless, charged with violation of probation, was continued until March 29.

• Harold M. Prater, charged with DUI (2nd offense), was dismissed without cost.

• Dewey Raymond, charged with violation of probation, failed to appear. A capias was issued for his arrest.

• Timothy D. Richards, charged with theft over $1,000, reckless endangerment, evading arrest, evading arrest by a motor vehicle, speeding (76/55), reckless driving, improper passing and no signal, was continued until May 17.

• Bobby D. Sanders pled guilty to a charge of violation of probation. His probation was revoked and he was sentence to 60 days, with credit given for 28 days served. Upon release he will be placed back on probation for eight months, 29 days. He was also ordered to pay court costs.

• Ila Kay Smith, charged with violation of probation, was continued until April 26.

• Deborah Elaine Smithson, charged with violation of probation, failed to appear. A capias was issued for her arrest.

• Roger Alan Smithson, pled guilty to charges of following too close and seat belt law violation. He was fined $12 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Dustin Scott St. John, charged with promotion of methamphetamine manufacture, evading arrest, simple possession of Schedule II drugs and criminal impersonation, was set for a preliminary hearing on April 12.

• Don A. Stephens, Jr., failed to appear on a charge of violation of probation. A capias was issued for his arrest.

• Russell D. Walls pled guilty to driving without a license. He was given a 30 day suspended sentence and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. He was fined $2 and ordered to pay court costs.

• Brian Wayne Freeman, charged with violation of probation, was continued until April 19.

• Lisa Hickman pled guilty to four counts of passing a worthless check. She was sentence to 11 months, 29 days in jail, partially suspended, and placed on probation for an equal amount of time. She was ordered to serve four days and given credit for four days served. She was also ordered to pay restitution, service charges and court costs.
