No Reported Cases of COVID-19 In Cannon County

As of Thursday, there have been no positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Cannon County. According to the State Department of Health website. currently there are 154 cases reported in Tennessee with the majority coming from Davidson and Williamson Counties.

Cannon County Health Department is currently operating normally to meet the needs of the public. Michael Railing, County Director noted the Department is issuing the following precautions to reduce the risk of spreading the disease:

We are asking that those that are sick call before entering the building so we can move them to a clinic room, signage is posted.
If someone presents with symptoms we are giving them a mask.
We have hand sanitizer available for the public throughout our facility.
We have increased our cleaning frequency.
We have spaced out our lobby waiting room chairs to increase separation.
We have a HEPA air filter operating in the lobby during business hours to remove germs.
