Winters Phann, Sr.

Winters Phann, Sr., 73, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at NHC - Smithville following an extended illness.

Born in Gainsboro, TN, he was a member of the Harmony Church of Christ, Jackson Co. and was a Small Engine Mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlin and Julia Hamlet Phann and a son, Winters Phann, Jr.

Survivors include:

Wife: Sue Watts Phann of Smithville.

Daughters: Kay (Ronald) Crook of Liberty and Melissa (Earley) Rains of Woodbury.

7 grandchildren: Julie Phann, Matt Phann, Jessica Phann, Emily Fare & Lindsay Miller, Maranda Tenpenny and Jesse Rains.

2 great grandchildren: Cassie Fair and Jayden Crook.

2 Sisters: Glenda Dawes of Smithville and Verbal Harris of Gainsboro.

Brother: Charlie Phann of Smithville,

Funeral services will be in the  Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Sunay, Dec. 12, 2010 with  Bro. Danny Parker officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Holly Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010 from 1 to 9 p.m.
