COVID Pauses On Campus Learning At Woodbury And East Side

The number of positive cases and contacts at Woodbury Grammar School has caused the pause of On-Campus Learning Friday and Monday. Students will return Tuesday. Students will be participating in distance learning during this time.

Director of Schools William Freddy Curtis stated, "There has been a recent up-tick in the number of positive cases of COVID-19 with students and staff at Woodbury Grammar School this past week. The following Statistics as of Thursday, January 27, 2022 indicate:

Students - Total Woodbury Grammar School Students = 326

Total Positive Cases and Contacts = 80 Students or 25% of Total Students

Staff - Total 59 Staff Full and Part-Time

Total Positive Cases and Contacts = 20 or 33.8%."

Curtis continued, "The pause will allow our custodial staff for additional deep cleaning and allowing time for these possible exposures and cases to diminish."

Friday afternoon Director Curtis reported East Side School will be involved in distance learning after on campus learning was shut down at the school Monday January 31st and Tuesday February 1st. Students will be back on campus Wednesday February 2nd.
Monday's East Side vs West Side game has been postponed.
