Nearly $8,000 stolen from home

Burglaries

Nearly $8,000 worth of personal items were taken during a burglary on Wilmouth Creek Road.

The homeowner said when he returned home a break-in was discovered with multiple items missing. Among the stolen items were assorted gold rings and other jewelry, a Galaxy tablet and a Hitachi drill/driver combo. The case is under investigation.

Investigators were dispatched to a burglary on Warren Road where an assortment of items were taken.

Missing were Remington shotgun barrels, a 22-250-caliber rifle, a Hot Wheels collection, a gray socket set and a black socket set valued at $725. The missing items were valued at nearly $2,000.

Driving on a Revoked

Larry Van Davis was charged with driving on a revoked license (fourth offense). A hearing is set for Nov. 3 in General Sessions Court.

Elizabeth Susan Snow, passing worthless checks.

Theft under $500

Charles Edward Moody Jr. was charged with the theft of a set of jumper cables by Chief Lowell Womack. A hearing is set for Nov. 10 in General Sessions Court.

Dunia Experanza Sellers was charged with driving on a suspended license by Patrolman Jimmy Hayes. A hearing is set for Nov. 10 in General Sessions Court.

Melanie Diane Asbury was charged with failure to provide insurance by Patrolman Dustin Pack. A hearing is set for Dec. 8 in General Sessions Court.

Jerry Ray Gunter was charged with driving on a suspended license and with violating the financial responsibility law by Patrolman Tracey Stoetzel. A hearing is set for Dec. 8 in General Sessions Court.

Benjamin C. Roberts was charged with driving on a revoked license by Patrolman Melanie McCormick. A hearing is set for Dec. 8 in General Sessions Court.

Thomas Daniel Smith was charged with driving on a suspended license and with violating the financial responsibility law by Patrolman John House. A hearing is set for Nov. 10 in General Sessions Court.
