Multiple DUI, Public Intoxication Arrests Made



Multiple persons where charged recently with either DUI or public intoxication by local law enforcement officers.

• Timothy Lee Young, 110 Young Bridge Rd., Woodbury, was charged with DUI 1st offense on Sept. 3 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House. Young was stopped while he was driving on East High St. He was unable to perform a field sobriety test as demonstrated. Bond was set at $2,000. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Monica Lee Barrett was charged with public intoxication on Sept. 2 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House. Barrett was found staggering down John Bragg Hwy. She was unable to perform field sobriety tests. Bond was set at $400. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Michael Keith Bailey, 536 McFerrin St. B-3, Woodbury, was charged with DUI 1st offense on Aug. 31 by Woodbury Police Sgt. John House following a traffic stop on McFerrin St. Bailey was unable to perform a field sobriety test as demonstrated. Bond was set at $2,000. Initial court date is Oct. 11.

• Christopher Paul LeFever, 5562 Pleasant View Rd., Woodbury, was charged with public intoxication on Sept. 1 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire. After receiving reports of a man, matching LaFever’s description, knocking on people’s doors, LaFever was found in the road on Bryant Lane by Sgt. John House. He had the odor of an alcoholic beverage about his person. Bond was set at $800. Initial court date is Oct. 25.

• In another recent arrest involving a driving offense, Daryl Dewayne Thomas, 408 W. Adams St., Woodbury, was charged with driving on a suspended license on Sept. 3 by Woodbury Patrolman John Fesmire. Thomas was stopped while he was driving his vehicle on W. Main St. Patrol Fesmire had prior knowledge of the status of Thomas’ license at the time of the stop. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Oct. 25.
