Mom, Son 'Just Keep Running'
Micah Joel Louden, age 8, and his mother Becki Louden. of Woodbury, ran in the 10 K Spring Road Race at the University of Alabama – Huntsville on March 6, 2011.

Micah ran the 6.2 miles in 64 minutes and 39 seconds placing 1st in his age group.

In February at the Winter Winds Race in Huntsville, Micah placed 2nd in his age group in the 4 mile race with a time just over 38 minutes.

Becki began running long distance in Bagdad, Iraq with the Army Ten-Miler and a half marathon in 2008.

Becki and Micah enjoy running together and ran their first race in the Boro Dash 4 mile run, on Thanksgiving Day, 2010 in Murfreesboro.

During long runs they repeat a favorite Bible verse from Isaiah 40:31: “those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”

Micah also has a song that he repeats over and over, “just keep running, just keep running….” that makes them giggle and helps them along the way.
