Preparations Begin For Veterans Day Program, Parade
The Veterans and Concerned Citizens for the Cannon County Veterans (VCCCCV) met in a rather lengthy meeting on September 17th at the Senior Center. Family Support Program Faces Budgetary Axe
With one stroke of the pen the Family Support Program is facing extinction in the upcoming 2010-2011 State Budget process. This Program has been serving the needs of the disabled Statewide since 1988 and enables them to stay in their homes and communities. In fiscal year 2009 there were 3,991 families served Statewide and 6,363 on the waiting list.
