The Cannon County Lions and Lionettes middle grades basketball teams go for the season sweep tonight as they travel to nearby Smithville for a set of contests against Dekalb Middle School. The Lionettes escaped with a one point win over Dekalb last Monday while the Lions picked up the sweep of the night in the second contest.
Tonight's games will start at 6:00.

Other events/meetings tonight. The Cannon County Election Commission will hold their Presidental Certification meeting tonight at 5:30 at the Cannon County Election Offices.
