The Cannon County Lionettes girls soccer team rolls into the championship game of the District 7-AA tournament looking for their fifth consecutive win but in their way is the top seed of the event in Smith County. The Lady Owls didn't lose a district game all season but the Lionettes played them as close as any team this year before losing 2-0 in Woodbury September 28th.
Since then the Lionettes have gone on to win four straight including the semifinal matchup against York Tuesday 3-0.
The championship will be played in Jamestown at York Institute starting at 6:00.
