Men Charged With Vandalism, Criminal Trespass

Two men were served with warrants on Dec. 11 charging them with Criminal Trespass and Vandalism Under $500.

The warrants were taken out by the purported victim, and served by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Mike “Doc” Smith.

The alleged perpetrators are Dustin Tyler Young, 2214 Warren Rd., McMinnville, and Brandon Reed Campbell, 11101 Bradyville Pike, Readyville.

It is alleged that on Dec. 8 Young and Campbell were told to stay away from the victim’s property, and that on Dec. 9 they came onto the property in a 4x4 truck and drove around, causing damage.

Young and Campbell were each released on $3,000 bond. Initial court date is Jan. 3.

• Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Parsley spoke with Tonya Blocker on Dec. 10 regard a motor vehicle accident. Blocker said she was traveling east on U.S. 70S (McMinnville Hwy.) near Pleasant Ridge Rd. when a deer came from her driver’s side and hit her vehicle. Damage was minimal and the vehicle was operational.

• Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Matthew Parsley was dispatched to the Quick Shop Market on Dec. 12 to speak to a complainant about a motor vehicle crash on Hollow Springs Rd. Upon arrival he spoke with Jamie Southworth, operator of a Nissan Sentra, who stated she was traveling on Hollow Springs Rd. when a dog ran out in front of her, causing her to strike the animal with the front of the vehicle, leased from Nissan North America. No wrecker service was needed due to there only being minor damage to the front.

• Christopher Gilley was served a warrant for Violation of Probation on Dec. 10 in the booking room of the Cannon County Jail.

• Melissa F. Fults was served two Worthless Check warrants on Dec. 13 in the booking room of the Cannon County Jail.

• Elizabeth N. Hodge was served a warrant for Violation of Probation on Dec. 13 in the booking room of the Cannon County Jail.

• Paula R. Davis was served a warrant for Violation of Probation on Dec. 7 in the booking room of the Cannon County Jail.

• William Kevin Bryant, 319 Hayes St., Woodbury, was charged with Illegal Possession of a Firearm (Convicted Felon) at the office of a local dentist on Dec. 7. The weapon, a North American Arms .22 long rifle revolver, was reported as stolen from Smith County. Bond was set at $3,000. Initial court date is Jan. 24.

• Nathan D. Bush, 1404 Oscar Crowell Rd., Beech Grove, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License on Dec. 7. The incident occurred at the Dollar Store Market. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Jan. 24.

• Kayla Tramel, 218 E. High St., Woodbury, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License on Dec. 7. The incident occurred on Bryant Lane. A release citation was issued. Initial court date is Jan. 24.
