There will be a Meet & Greet with Mark Pody on Tuesday, Oct. 24 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Rustic Elegance Event Center on Doolittle Road in Woodbury. Pody is running for the District 17 state Senate seat vacated by the resignation of Mae Beavers in the Nov. 7 primary and in the Dec. 19 Special Election. Pody, a Republican, currently serves as District 46 state House representative. Rep. Pody will also be meeting constituents at the Cannon County Senior Center on Friday, Oct. 20 at 1 p.m.
