Marlena B. Summar, age 73, of Murfreesboro passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was a native of Cannon County and the daughter of the late Frank and Rachel Davenport Bryan.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday at North Boulevard Church of Christ. Bro. David Young will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Summar is survived by her husband, Doug Summar, daughter, Tamera Neely and her husband Jeff of Murfreesboro, Todd Summar and his wife Joy of Lascassas, grandchildren, Lucas, Matt and Zac Neely, McCall Dunaway and Mason Summar, great grandchildren, Evie and Ava Grace Neely and Cale and Emmett Dunaway.

Mrs. Summar was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ and a Real Estate Agent with Bob Parks for 28 years before her retirement. Marlena impacted so many lives with her words of encouragement and sense of humor; she was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm Wednesday at North Boulevard Church of Christ.
