Man On Probation Faces New Charges

A man who was recently placed on state supervised probation for four years following his conviction in Cannon County Circuit Court on drug charges has amassed a slew of new charges after a March 16 incident on Belle Hill Lane.

Timmy Lee Young, 110 Young Bridge Rd., Woodbury, was charged with Aggravated Criminal Trespass, Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest by Cannon County Sheriff’s Deputy Reed Bryson.

Young was found at the Belle Hill Lane address beating on the door and yelling and cursing to the point it alarmed the residents and other people living in the area.

Young allegedly pulled away and then pushed and/or swung at officers while they were attempting to place him in handcuffs.

Young was also served an arrest warrant on March 16 for Violation Of Probation. He was on county probation after being convicted of Driving Under The Influence on Nov. 1, 2011 in General Sessions Court. He has allegedly failed to report to his probation officer following his release from jail on Feb. 2, 2012, failed to submit to random drug screens, and failed to pay court costs, fines, supervision fees and restitution, failed to complete a DUI School and failed to perform 24 hours litter removal.

Total bond was set at $4,500. His next court date is April 24.
