Macon W. Osment Wade

Macon W. Osment Wade, 80, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at Cookeville Regional hospital. She was a native of Cannon Co.

She is survived by her 2 Daughters, Brenda (Lloyd) Queen of Trenton, MI. and Debra (Eric) Hillis of McMinnville; Grandchildren, Clifford (Sandra) Daniel of Mt. Airy, NC, Robert (Aleesha) Hillis of Murfreesboro and Sarah Queen of Trenton, MI.;

Great Grandson, X'ander Hillis of Murfreesboro; Siblings, Bratton Osment, Ernest Osment and Roy (Lela) Osment all of Woodbury, Joe Osment of Smithville and Patsy (Peanut) McBride of McMinnville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Selmer and Hassie Smith Osment, her husband, Robert L. Wade and her infant daughter, Veba Kay Wade.

She was a member of the Short Mtn. Church of God and was a Dietary Supervisor at Providence Hospital, Southville Michigan.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Saturday, April 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Clifford Daniel and Bro. Eric Hillis officiating. Interment will follow in the Gunter Grizzle Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, April 08, 2016 from 3 pm until 9 pm.
