"Machete Man" Michael Thomas Caught In Dekalb County

The chase is over. Law enforcement agencies have been looking for Michael Holden Thomas which was intensified Wednesday after he held three children including two teenagers hostage and beat an adult woman with a baseball bat.
Thomas had long eluded authorities who had been looking for him due to a probation violation out of Kentucky and was a suspect in auto theft.
Sunday morning around 7:30, Rutherford and Cannon County law enforcement were able to spot him and another chase began that went through Dekalb County before he was apprehended. Thomas faces a multitude of charges.
