Mable Jean Combass, 85 of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. Mrs. Combass was a native of Watertown, TN where she graduated from high school in the class of 1948.

She had been a resident of Jacksonville since 1971 and moved to Clay County in 2000. Mrs. Combass was a member of Black Creek Church of Christ in Middleburg, FL. Avery sweet person, loved by everyone, good sense of humor and a Christian woman are just a few things that describe a wonderful lady who will be missed.

Mrs. Combass is survived by her son, who she was very proud of, Charles (Donna) Combass, four step children, Phillip Combass, Wayne (Kathy) Combass, Robert (Denise) Combass and Mary (Mike) Carter, one sister, Juanita Burks, eight grandchildren, Alexis (who Mrs. Combass doted on and was her caregiver), Hunter, Sally, Jennifer, Kathryn, Tommy, Dawn and Ryan, and three great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the Chapel of Russell Haven of Rest with Mr. Steve Atnip officiating. Visitation with the family was from 3-4:00 prior to services in the chapel. Burial followed in Russell Haven of Rest Cemetery.
