Lynwood Barrett, Age 70, of Cannon County passed away Saturday APril 8, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center.

Survivors include his father Hoyte R. Barrett of Murfreesboro; Daughter Julie Barrett Walker of Nashville; Grandson Blake (Savannah) Walker of Murfreesboro; Great granddaughter Makenna Walker of Murfreesboro; Sister Elizabeth Bauman of Woodbury. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Elene Green Barrett. Lynwood was a retired truck driver, a member of the Church of Christ and a member of the Cannon County Walking Horse Assoc.

Funeral Services were held at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home 2:00 pm, Monday April 10 with Bros. Norman Pelham and Ronnie Hall officiating. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery with visitation being held Sunday April 9th, 2017, from 4 to 8 PM
