Louree Turney Gaither

Louree Turney Gaither, 92, died Sunday, October 2, 2011, at Woodbury Health Care Center following an extended illness.

A native of Cannon County, she was a housewife and a member of the Auburntown Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Ova Simpson Turney, and her husband, I.B. Gaither.

Survivors include two sons, Ronny (Sandra) Gaither of Greenbriar, TN and Barry (Janice) Gaither of Townsend, GA; four grandchildren, Isaac Gaither, Rachel Gaither, Lorie Gaither (Dennis) Lane and Daniel Bryant (Lisa) Gaither; and five great grandchildren, Dakota, Dawson, Denton Lane, Trinity and Hunter Gaither.

Funeral services will be held at Auburntown Church of Christ at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4 with Bro. David Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Donnell Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 at Woodbury Funeral Home and she will lie in state at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
