Lions Volleyball and Golf Teams Lose Tuesday

Cannon County Lionettes lost their volleyball season opener to Warren County 25-17, 25-20, 27-25 in Woodbury Tuesday. The Lionettes showed they were much improved however as they provided a legitimate challenge to the Lady Pioneers in a matchup of a 1-A school vs a 3-A school.

Cannon County Lions Golf team lost to DeKalb Monday at the Smithville Golf Course 164-219 and lost to Smith County Tuesday at the Golden Eagle Golf Course in Cookeville 209-210.
