Lions and Lionettes Live Tonight And Saturday On Facebook Page

The final two weeks of the regular high school basketball season is approaching and the Cannon County Lions have two games on tap this weekend that could help them climb up the District standings if they can take care of business on their home court.
First up tonight the Macon County Tigers will visit. Macon County is 0-9 in District play after losing to Livingston Thursday 66-55. Cannon beat Macon in Lafayette 59-38.
Also tonight Gus Davenport will be recognized after reaching 1000 points in his high school career achieving the milestone in the one point win at York Tuesday night.
Saturday the Lions will get the opportunity to shut down the Livingston Wildcats. Livingston will come into Robert A. Harris Gymnasium taking part in their 7th game in 9 days, most of those were make up dates due to COVID-19.
If Cannon can win both, the Lions will move up to 4th place in the District standings with four games left.
Tonight's games will start at 6:00 with the girls matchup. Cannon Courier News and Events Facebook page will have the games live with the stream starting at 5:55.
