The Cannon County Lions and Lionettes are gearing up for game number four of the basketball season as they set to meet the Tigers and Tigerettes of Central Magnet School.
The Lionettes enter the game 3-0 after taking care of Marshall County 55-44 and disposing of Monterey 57-38 Saturday at Coffee County Middle School while the Cannon County Lions lost to the host team Red Raiders 50-45 but bounced Huntland 60-44 to enter the contest 2-1.
Last season the Lions got the one point advantage in Murfreesboro in a 40-39 win but Central got revenge in a close 63-62 victory in Woodbury in January. Central's boys team is 2-0 to start the season.
