Lionettes Jump Out To A 4-0 Start

The Cannon County Lionettes are off to their best start since the 2014-2015 season after a 46-31 win over Central Magnet. The Lionettes got off to an 11-1 lead at the end of the first quarter before Central kept pace with them in the second. Cannon pulled away at the closing moments to go 4-0 on the season heading into Friday's play at the Mitch Wilson Classic against Clay County.
Three point shooting from Central Magnet allowed the Tigers to open up some distance between themselves and the Lions in the first quarter. Cannon tried to comeback on several runs but couldn't get any closer than three points in a 56-53 loss to the Murfreesboro school.
The Lions are now 2-2.
The box scores will be in the December 3rd issue of the Cannon Courier.
