Luke Jakes led the Lions to a victory over Watertown with a low round of 46 in the final regular season match. Cannon County finished as season Champions with a District record of 7-1.

The Cannon County Lions Golf team are regular season district champions as they wrapped up the regular season last week. The Lions defeated Watertown by forfeit as the Purple Tigers only sent three golfers to the match. Luke Jakes scored 46, Austin Taylor shot 49, Brady Sissom finished with 54, Branden Schwarrtz with 61 and Kolby Duke shot 67. District Tournament starts Monday at the Southern Hills Golf Course in Cookeville.
