PrintI want to start by saying that I truly support small country stores. With that being said I also want to say in response to last week’s article, where they mentioned changing the zoning requirement to 800 feet from a church so they can sell beer, I am against.
This law was put into place to protect the values that this country was built upon. Furthermore, if we allow the government to change this law what will be next? Will it be how close a child sex offender can live to a playground or a school? It is time to say enough is enough. Some things are not meant to be changed and this my friends is one of them.
