I am very encouraged by the generosity of the citizens of Cannon County to help feed the hungry. As a member of the local Food Bank, I have been touched by the support from local business, churches, and many individuals who have recently contributed to the Food Bank. Without their help in these difficult economic times the food bank would have been unable to meet all the requests for assistance.

Specifically, we want to thank the following: Dillon Street Baptist, Woodbury Seventh Day Adventist, Burt Baptist, Ivy Bluff Methodist, New Short Mountain Methodist, Gilley Hill Methodist, Grace Christian Fellowship, Simmons Chapel Free Methodist, Cripple Creek Presbyterian, First Methodist Woodbury, Cornerstone Community, Prosperity Baptist, Dollar General Market, First National Bank, Middle Tennessee Electric, Woodbury Weight Watchers, First Bank of Woodbury, Girl Scout Unit 158, Kathryn & Ronald Finestine, Sue Patrick, and many more individual citizens of Cannon County who wish to remain anonymous. Thanks for your support of our local Food Bank!

Sincerely,

John Wesley Hembree, Pastor
First United Methodist Church Woodbury
