Lela Ann Finley

Lela Ann Finley, 71, died Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at her home in Auburntown following an extended illness.

She was a native of Cannon County, a retired seamstress, and attended Sycamore Baptist Church.

Her parents were the late Edgar Murphy and Martha Mai Warren Murphy.

Survivors include five children, Jimmy Wayne Finley of Murfreesboro, Sammy Finley of Atlanta, GA, Linda Findley of Madison, GA, Larry Barrett of Auburntown and Christiana Moon of Madison, GA;

Five grandchildren, John and Courtney Weaver, Wayne and Olivia Finley;

Five sisters, Ruth Fletcher of Christiana, Magaline Davenport of Gassaway, Allie Allen of Woodbury, Betty (William) Vickers of Liberty, Arlene (Larry) Sanders of Woodbury'

Two brothers, Roy Murphy of Woodbury and Ray (Mary) Murphy of Dowelltown.

Also surviving are three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday until 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. with Brother Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be in Sycamore Cemetery.
