NOTICE OF TRUSTEE’S SALE
WHEREAS, default has occurred in the performance of the covenants, terms, and conditions of a Deed of Trust Note dated February 27, 2004, and the Deed of Trust of even date securing the same, recorded March 2, 2004, at Book 55, Page 174 in Office of the Register of Deeds for Cannon County, Tennessee, executed by DAVID R. BURGESS, JR. AND ALYSON BURGESS, conveying certain property therein described to David R. Wilson, Williamson County as Trustee for Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation; and the undersigned, Shellie Wallace of Wilson & Associates, P.L.L.C., having been appointed Successor Trustee.
NOW, THEREFORE, notice is hereby given that the entire indebtedness has been declared due and payable; and that an agent of Shellie Wallace of Wilson & Associates, P.L.L.C., as Successor Trustee, by virtue of the power, duty, and authority vested in and imposed upon said Successor Trustee will, on January 8, 2010 on or about 3:30 P.M., at the Cannon County Courthouse, Woodbury, Tennessee, offer for sale certain property hereinafter described to the highest bidder FOR CASH, free from the statutory right of redemption, homestead, dower, and all other exemptions which are expressly waived in the Deed of Trust, said property being real estate situated in Cannon County, Tennessee, and being more particularly described as follows:

Beginning at an iron pin at the southwest corner of the intersection of Bradyville and Hoover Roads and running south with Bradyville Road 150 feet to an iron pin; thence East and parallel with Hoover Road 290 feet to an iron pin; thence north and parallel with Bradyville Road 150 feet to an iron pin in south margin of Hoover Road; and thence West with Hoover Road 290 feet to the point of beginning, containing approximately one (1) acre, more or less.
ALSO KNOWN AS: 745 Bradyville Pike, Woodbury, Tennessee 37190
This sale is subject to all matters shown on any applicable recorded plat; any unpaid taxes; any restrictive covenants, easements, or setback lines that may be applicable; any statutory rights of redemption of any governmental agency, state or federal; any prior liens or encumbrances as well as any priority created by a fixture filing; and to any matter that an accurate survey of the premises might disclose. The sale held pursuant to this Notice may be rescinded at the Successor Trustee’s option at any time. Joint Economic and Community Development Board Meeting Notice

The Cannon County Joint Economic and Community Development Board will meet Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. at the Cannon County Courthouse.

The Cannon County Regional Planning Commission meeting has been canceled for the month of December. The next meeting is scheduled for
January 26th, 2010
6:00 pm at the County Court House.

PUBLIC HEARING
The Cannon County Regional Planning Commission
will meet on
Tuesday, January 26th, 2010
at 6:00 P.M. at the Cannon County Court House to consider an amendment to the county subdivision regulations regarding “Road Construction Procedures and Specifications”.

The design standards are in regards to allowing roads within the county to be installed with “Tar and Chip” under certain conditions. The amendment can be viewed at the County Mayors office/County Court House.

The public is invited to attend.

Election Office Holiday Closings

The Cannon County Election office will be closed December 24th and 25th for the Christmas Holiday. Will also be closed December 31st and January 1st for the New Year Holiday.

Anyone wishing to run for a County official in the August 5th election can pick up their petition on January 4th at the election office.
Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. 4 p.m. You can reach them at the office at 563-5650 if there are any questions.

Due to the day for petitions being on the first Monday of the month, the Election Commissioners have changed their monthly meeting to the 2nd Monday of the month.
