Mrs. Layuna "Noonie" Goin , 82, of Woodbury passed away on September 22, 2020. She was born on April 10, 1938 in Woodbury, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard "Bill" Ray Bailey and Nettie Merriman Bailey, husband, Samuel Whyte Goin, brothers, Hugh Bob Bailey and T. J. Bailey, sisters, Shirley Logan and Loretta Bailey, nephews, Mike Logan and Tim Logan, niece, Christie Belcher and a cousin, Hazel Blair.

She is survived by her son, David (Brandi) Goin of Woodbury, grandchildren, Bailey Goin and Cameron Goin, brothers, Donald Ray Bailey and Freddie Belcher, nephews, Donnie Bailey and Ronnie Bailey, nieces, Jimmie Montgomery, Kelly Hobbs, Melinda Bailey, and Tena Cooper.

She loved her family, never met a stranger, and loved holding babies. People who knew her could easily see her soft spoken, loving, and caring personality. When you would see her she would have a sweet smile and a hug waiting for you. Her grandkids were her pride and joy. She was happiest spending time with them. She also loved to talk on the phone every night to various family members and to her good friends Shirley Vance and Sandy Hazel and eat to supper with Ovie Hollis. She was a member of the Center Hill Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 12 pm in the Smith Funeral Home chapel. Greg Mitchell will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Garden. The family would especially like to thank the staff of Woodbury Health and Rehab for their care and understanding while taking care of Mrs. Layuna during the current time of turmoil in our country.
