I am Larry Sanders and I am announcing my candidacy for the office of Cirtuit Court Clerk of Cannon County.
I am a lifelong resident of Cannon County residing the Burt Community. My wife, Arlene and I have been married 32 years and have two sons, Nathan of Woodbury and Dustin of Knoxville, Tennessee. We are the proud grandparents of three grandchildren, Cody, Belle and Lilly. We attend Burt Baptist Church and are active in community and civic activities.
I am a Woodbury Central High School graduate, class of 1975. I attended Middle Tennessee State University majoring in business administration. I have many years of managerial experience in supervising people and working within budget constraints.
I am seeking this office to hopefully make a change in the local politics of this county. I know first hand that continually doing things the same old way will eventually lead to waste and complacency. In these tough economic times, we as taxpayers should demand that all offices be run as streamlined and efficient as possible without sacrificing the quality and service to you the people who pay the salaries of the elected officials.
Most of all, I feel that an elected official is a public servant and should always treat the people that pays his or her salary with the utmost respect at all times. If elected, I will treat each and everyone fair and honest and hire employees based on individual job position qualifications.
My goal is to see each and every vote before August 5th, but know this is not possible, I would like to take this opportunity to ask for your vote and support. Vote for new ideas and efficient use of the taxpayers’ money. Vote Larry Sanders for Circuit Court Clerk.
