Larry James Hiles, Sr., 70, passed away Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 at his home following an extended illness.

He is survived by his children, Larry "Bumper" Hiles and Jamie Sheree Hiles; sisters, Vivan Johnson of Woodbury & Shelia Dodgen of Smyrna and companion, Christine Alford of Woodbury. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Clara Hiles.

Larry was self-employed with auctions and was a veteran of the Navy. He enjoyed working in plants and flowers, auctions, antiques and arguing politics.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Jewell Frame officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 22,2 017 from 10 am until 3 pm.
