Burglary Reported

Deputy Josh Thomas was dispatched to investigate a burglary on Pea Ridge Road. Property owner David Neal reported the theft of a number of items from his home including a canoe, two handguns and assorted jewelry including a gold, three stone cluster ring valued at $2,000.
The missing handguns were a Butler .22-caliber Derringer and a .38-caliber snub nose pistol with pearl handles. Also taken were an outboard motor, trolling motor and several tools including a generator, weed eater and leaf blower.

Chainsaws Stolen

Deputy Michael Agee investigated the theft of two Stihl chainsaws from a vehicle parked at Retha Frazier Hollow Road. A window was knocked out to gain access to the saws.

Tools Stolen

Deputy Kyle Wix investigated the theft of several thousands of dollars worth of tools from a home on Short Mountain Road. The items were taken from a truck owned by Terry Sanders and from a storage shed. Among the missing items were a Stanley ratchet set, multiple Craftsman tools, two Skillsaws, a Homelite chain saw and even $12 worth of gas from a storage can.


False Report
Resisting Arrest

Nicole Mary Foster was arrested and charged with making a false domestic violence report and with resisting arrest. Her bond was set at $5,000 and a hearing was set for Dec. 1 in General Sessions Court.

Drug Violation
Auto Accident

Deputies Josh Thomas and Michael Agree were dispatched to Short Mountain School following a reported auto accident with the driver possibly under the influence. Ellissa S. Howard of Smithville was charged with DUI and Possession of a Schedule 2 drug (Vyvance).

DUI

Michael Gayle Gann was charged with DUI following a traffic stop on Center Hill Road. A hearing is set for Dec. 20 in General Sessions Court.

Driving on Revoked

Justin C. Price of Smithville was charged with driving on a revoked licenses following a single car accident on Peyton Lane. A hearing is set for Nov. 3 in General Sessions Court.

Warrants Served

Shawn Tyler Pritchard, passing a worthless check.

Wesley Paul Scott, violation of probation.

Charles Denny Johnson, amended violation.

Andrew Michael Seymour, violation of probation.
