PrintJulio Miranda Gutierrez, 94, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at Stonecrest Hospital following an extended illness. He was a native of LaGrulla, Texas.
He is survived by his Daughter & Son-in-law, Evonne & Tony Gunter of Readyville;Grandson, Andy (Lindsey) Jordan; Great Grandchildren, Peyton Bentlee & Preslynn Grace; Honorary Grandchildren: Trisha & Clay Richards; Brothers-in-law: Paul Reed, Jimmy D. (Dorothy) Reed and Marvin Reed; Sisters-in-law: Frankie Goins and Jean Norton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo & Biatris Miranda Gutierrez and his wife, Ruby, whom he married on May 05, 1951.
A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness', Mr. Gutierrez was an accomplished man who spoke 3 different languages and in his early years, worked for Governor of Mexico. Always wanting to learn more, he was a farmer for over 35 years, a carpenter and retired from Chrysler Warren Stamping Plant where he was a welder.
Graveside Services will be 10:30 am Thursday at Thyatira Cemetery with Bro. Gary Louxofficiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5 pm until 7 pm, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Woodbury Funeral Home.
