Jimmy Ray Young

Services for Jimmy Ray Young, 64, of Woodbury will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Mitchell and Bro. Joe Sissom officiating. Burial will follow at Prater Cemetery.

Visitation is from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Mr. Young died Sunday at his home. He was a DeKalb County native.

Jimmy was retired from Bridgestone and was a member of the Hollow Springs Community Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton Reece Young and Lillian Young Rogers, step-dad Jake Rogers; sister and brother-in-law Christine and Maxi Paull.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Thomas Young of Woodbury; children, Danny Young and Ashley Young, both of Woodbury; and a grandson, Brody Lamphere of Woodbury.
