Historical Society Meeting Sept. 13

The Cannon County Historical Society will meet Tuesday, September 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Adams Memorial Library in the basement meeting room.

Robert Bush will be the featured speaker. He is a native Cannon Countian and grew up in Bradyville.

Quite naturally, his subject will deal with Bradyville, it’s downtown and surrounding area with emphasis on Civil War happenings in the vicinity, the Post Office and rural mail routes, a plat of the Town of Bradyville and other related matters.

Robert is a very gifted Historian, Researcher and Writer on Cannon County and surrounding areas. You will enjoy his presentaton.

We will meet promptly at 6:30 p.m. for “finger foods” and snacks. Please bring what you would like and enjoy food and fellowship. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. Come and bring someone with you. Everyone is welcome. Looking forward to seeing you September 13th.
