The Cannon County High School girls basketball team is taking part in a toy drive initiative being held by Crane Interiors for the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Coach Jonathan Odom said, "We are grateful to take part in such a wonderful initiative, and we are thankful for Crane, which has been a fixture in our community for a long time, for spearheading this and allowing us to be a small part of it. We would also like to thank Director of Schools Barbara Parker for informing us of this community service opportunity and for her support of our program. Servanthood and character are paramount principles of our program and this group of young ladies exemplify these qualities on a daily basis and they are overjoyed to participate in this toy drive for the victims of Hurricane Harvey." Joining the team for the picture were, in the back row, Chris Anderson of Crane Interiors and Director of Schools Parker.
