Greene Thumbs Nose At Workers, Takes Off With Plants

Seth L. Greene, 1114 Bertha Owens Rd., Morrison, was charged with Theft Under $500 (merchandise value $59.55) on April 20 by Woodbury Police Chief Kevin Mooneyham.

Greene was at ACE Hardware when he allegedly stole a flat of pepper plants and a flat of tomato plants.

Greene was observed by ACE employees putting the plants in his truck. When they tried to stop him he sped off.

He was observed by Cannon County 911 Director Roy Sullivan leaving the merchandise at 104 Lester St.

The property was recovered and returned to ACE Hardware. Bond was set at $4,000. Initial court date is May 8.
